The mission of Nehemiah Village is to be a resource of possibilities and transformation for formerly-incarcerated men, helping to return and restore them to our communities.

Research, focus groups & testimonies of returning citizens have demonstrated that stable living arrangements and mentorship are crucial to successful reentry.

Successful reentry programs rely on more than just helping ex-offenders find housing and jobs. It also requires helping offenders change their attitudes and beliefs about themselves, authority, crime, address mental health issues, provide mentoring, offer educational opportunities, and job preparedness.
